VeoRide Earth Day Celebration – free rides all day!

Come celebrate Earth Day with VeoRide! Join us in front of City Hall, where VeoRide and the event sponsor, Lowell Bicycle Coalition, will be out on bikes, handing out free VeoRide swag and LBC shirts!
All VeoRide pedal bikes in Lowell will be set to no charge for the 24-hr period that is Earth Day. We hope you join us!

VeoRide is a micromobility share company that serves dozens of markets across the US and just launched a bikeshare program in Lowell.
The Lowell Bike Coalition is a 400-plus member community of cyclists and advocates working for better and safer cycling access in the city of Lowell. We support and promote:
– More and better bike infrastructure, including separated bike lanes
– More bike parking in our downtown and neighborhood commercial areas
– The extension of the Bruce Freeman Trail into downtown
– Connectivity of bike lanes between Lowell’s neighborhoods
– Education of drivers, cyclists, and law enforcement to improve safety for all road users
– Short-term demonstration projects to test and promote permanent infrastructure improvements
