The UMass Lowell Vietnamese Student Association and the Vietnamese community of Lowell would like to invite you to join us for this year’s celebration of Tết, also known as Vietnamese Lunar New Year! One of the most significant celebrations of the Vietnamese culture, Tết marks the beginning of Spring, where people everywhere leaves behind their problems in the past, and start anew with a focus on prosperity, luck, fortune, and good health for the new year!
Tết at Lowell 2019 is proud to present many performances, ceremonies, and games that stem from the Vietnamese culture. All of these are being brought to you by many members in our own Lowell community, as well as those throughout the region. In doing so, we hope to incorporate our community values into a fun and entertaining afternoon. As such, we would love it if you were to celebrate the Year of The Pig with you, as well as your family and your friends!
