Teach Us All – documentary and discussion
Join The Youth Advocacy Foundation and YW Boston for a screening of the transformative and informative documentary Teach Us All about education inequities that still persist, and have often become more acute, 60 years after the historic decision in Brown v Board of Education and the bravery of the children called the Little Rock Nine to integrate an all-white high school.
Screening to be followed by a panel discussion about education inequities in Massachusetts.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite. They are technically free, but can also be purchased at $20 or $50 with proceeds benefiting the organizations.
The Youth Advocacy Foundation has been fighting for justice for vulnerable children in Massachusetts for over 15 years. They raise funds for programs and services that create and sustain zealous legal representation through education advocacy in order to ensure all children in Massachusetts have access to a quality education and do not become entangled in the School-to-Prison Pipeline.
