On Thursday, June 20th MVP leaders will be hosting our first public event with the greater Lowell community. MVP leaders have designed an evening where we not only share our work but we also provide entertainment that allows those in attendance to join us and contribute to our successes. This event is free and open to the public and will be a celebration of the diversity of Lowell and the social justice work that goes on to help the city continue to thrive. We will have MVP leaders share their stories, we will have distinguished UMASS Lowell Professor Bob Forrant speak, and we will have a dance presentation by Salsa in Lowell to boot! Our gracious hosts at Gary’s Restaurant will also be making available hors d’oeuvres and beverages along with a gorgeous space overlooking the Concord River. Come join us for what will surely be an exhilarating evening!
