Massachusetts Native Peoples Working Group

The Massachusetts Native Peoples Working Group will meet again on June 8, 2019 to continue strategizing around protecting and recognizing the rights of native peoples in Massachusetts. A list of topics to be discussed include:

·      Update and strategize on the native mascot bill and other related bills pending before the legislature;

·      Recognition of native nations by the Commonwealth;

·      Engagement with the Commonwealth to address the human rights of native peoples in Massachusetts.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
