Related Event: May 19, 2018, 12:00 to 2:00PM, Lowell Telecommunications Corp., 246 Market St., Lowell, MA. Performance by Srabonti Bandyopadhyay, an Odissi dancer from India followed by a workshop and question and answer session.

Lowell’s Asian American Heritage Exhibition” which aligns with Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in May is a partnership with the Brush Art Gallery and Studios, the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association (CMAA), Angkor Dance Troupe, SayDaNar, George Chen, and Soumita Acharya. The exhibition presents a collection of artwork and cultural items from four ethnic groups: Cambodian, Burmese, Indian, and Chinese. Several wall labels will display information in native languages. The idea for this exhibition was conceived by Sovanna Pouv of the CMAA. At the reception on May 5th, representatives from the four groups will be available to answer questions on exhibited items.
