Join us on Tuesday, July 31 at 6pm for our 2nd meeting of July. Busy month! We’ll be meeting at the offices of United Teachers of Lowell, 169 Merrimack Street, 4th floor.
Tentative agenda:
–Welcome and Introductions
–Updates and actions
–Formation of group to examine and be proactive on the SC proposal to return to a neighborhood school model. How does our community feel about that potential change? What would it mean to equity in our schools? Let’s start talking!
–Opt-out of testing event– planning (goals and logistics)
–Report out and continue discussion on student involvement in LEJA
–How do we make sure our current initiatives move forward given the removal of the superintendent?
