Calling all concerned to talk issues and solutions around Lawrence Public Schools and others in the area with Senator Barbara L’Italien and Representative Diana DiZoglio, both of which are on the Joint Committee on Education at the State House. Big deal.

We’ll be demanding an end to the Receivership and to reinstate our democratically elected school committee members. We really have to push for a hold on High Stakes Testing (MCAS), too, as a way to protect our students and help them actually learn! Find out how the Raise Up campaign will tax the rich and fund our public schools, and what’s up with the teacher’s contract?
