Ring in the holidays in Lowell and join us for City of Lights 2018!
Take the afternoon to stroll downtown Lowell streets and enjoy the fun, as we celebrate the season! From kids activities and live performances to holiday shopping, photos with Santa AND the crowd favorite, the Annual Hot Chocolate Competition, City of Lights 2018 will make you feel merry.
The daytime fun leads to the nighttime extravaganza — The City of Lights Parade and City Hall Lighting — which marks the City’s official start to the holiday season!

We’re excited to announce Mr. John Power, owner of Wannalancit Mills as this year’s Grand Marshal.
Parade begins at 4:30pm
Family Fun at City of Lights:
1 to 3 pm Photos with Santa at City Hall
1 to 5 pm Puppetry and Magic Show by Silly Sally at JFK Plaza
1 to 3:30 pm Holiday Art Exploratory
1 to 5 pm Holiday Craft Market at JFK Plaza
1 to 5 pm Ice Skating Rink at JFK Plaza
3:30 to 5:30 pm Holiday Songs and Singalongs at JFK Plaza
Festivities include:
10 am to 1 pm Children’s Shopping Day at the Pollard Library
2 pm Family Movie Screening at LNHP Visitor Center
2 to 6 pm Festival of Wreaths – Contest and Raffle
1 – 3 pm Strolling Carolers throughout Downtown
12 – 4 pm Holly Jolly Trolley
2 – 6 pm Self-Guided Tours + FREE Holiday Choral Concert (7p,)
