Glimpse the future and get inspired! Boston Mini Maker Faire is a community-organized, all-ages celebration featuring local do-it-yourself science, art, robots, sculpture, technology, music, hands-on-activities, and more. This year, we are partnering with Artisan’s Asylum and NE FIRST for 2 days of hands-on exhibits, workshops, demonstrations, and spectacular content. Come to Boston Mini Maker Faire to see novel technologies, make something with your own two hands, and chat with a local maker.
FAQ:
– The event will be held indoors and outdoors of Boston Children’s Museum.
– Looking for a unique locally-made item or gift? Many of our local artists and crafters sell their work!
– Check-in and admission is located on the plaza outside Boston Children’s Museum at 308 Congress Street. The main Faire will be held inside and outside the Museum. We will have outposts at Dewey Square on the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway and Waterfront Plaza at the Atlantic Wharf building to extend the Maker Faire fun!
– Given the nature of this special event, the Museum will not have Member Morning hours on this day. The Faire will open at 10:00 AM for both Members and General Admission. Please also note that not all indoor Museum exhibits will be open during the event, and other changes may be in effect to accommodate this special event!
