Join veterans and community volunteers as we report for duty in tribute to the 17th anniversary of 9/11/01. For this year’s National Day of Service, the Boston & Lowell Mission Continues 1st Service Platoons will partner with Mill City Grows to support urban farming efforts at Mill City Grows’ Big Farm in Lowell. The day will feature landscaping and planting, lunch and snacks, arts and crafts activities, and music to keep everyone motivated! All volunteers get a Mission Continues volunteer shirt. Come work side-by-side with community members and support food access in the City of Lowell! This is a family-friendly event — kids are welcomed to join!
