2019 GLCF Annual Meeting

Join the Greater Lowell Community Foundation at our Annual Meeting for a discussion on The State of Homelessness – Lowell and Beyond by Barbara Poppe, a national expert on collaborative community strategies to address and reduce homelessness.
Barbara Poppe, the former executive director of the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness, has been contracted to complete a strategic Action Plan to address the needs and resources necessary to manage chronic homelessness in downtown Lowell. The plan, convened by The City of Lowell, along with Community Teamwork Inc., the Lowell Plan, SMOC (South Middlesex Opportunity Council) and the Greater Lowell Community Foundation, Collaborative Strategies to Prevent, Reduce and End Chronic Homelessness in Lowell, is expected to be complete by July 2019.
