Vigil for Immigrant Children Who Have Died in Detention

A group of women, including mothers, are hosting this vigil at the Boston Common (near the State House) to honor the lives of immigrant children who have died in detention. We will also send our care and love to children currently held in detention, without loving arms to care for them. We will publicly speak out what is in our hearts on this matter- horror, outrage and deep sadness. We will make this event as family-friendly as we can, with art and a simple ritual to be inclusive to young people. Please join us in speaking up and sharing space in honor of children who are suffering and dying.

Somos un grupo de mujeres, incluyendo madres, quienes estamos organizando esta vigilia en Boston Common (cerca de la casa de estado) para honrar la vida de los niños migrantes que han muerto en los centros de detencion fronterizos. Tambien enviaremos nuestro carino y amor a los ninos que estan actualmente detenidos y sin unos brazos de amor que los cuiden. Hablaremos públicamente de lo que está en nuestro corazón concerniente a este problema – horror, indignación y profunda tristeza. Haremos este evento abierto para las familias lo más que podamos con arte y un simple ritual para incluir a la gente joven. Por favor, unete a defender y compartir un espacio de solidaridad en honor a los niños migrantes que están sufriendo y muriendo
