Lowell Education Justice Alliance meeting

Join us in the New Year for our Renewed Fight for Education Justice!
We will be meeting at the offices of the United Teachers of Lowell, 169 Merrimack Street, 4th floor.
Learn about the Fund Our Future Campaign and strategize with us about what LEJA can and will do to fight to fix the Foundation Budget.
Updates on:
–Recess Task Force Work
–Diversifying our Schools and the issues with the hiring of a new HR Director.
–School Assignment/Neighborhood School work and research
–LEJA’s Internal and external organizing.
And remember in this new year of work and organizing, let’s take in the words of education justice warrior Jitu Brown of Journey for Justice– in the fight for education justice in our communities we must lead with Racial Justice and this needs to be in our actions, not just words.
