Solidarity Lowell February General Meeting

Speaker: Alexander Chandler, Policy Advocate for Elections and Voting Rights at Protect Democracy (former Naval Intelligence Officer and primary candidate for the Third Congressional District)
Topic: The election crisis of 2022

Alexandra Chandler will outline the core threats to U.S. elections and the potential for election subversion, how these threats and changes in voting access increase the risk level and change the playing field, but also why there is cause for hope and what members of Solidarity Lowell can do to take action to reduce the risk of election crisis and other dangers to our democracy in 2022, 2024, and beyond.

Assistance urgently needed for our asylum-seeker

Asylum-Seeker Marius now has employment, but has had issues with his employer and is struggling to pay the rent. MVISN needs to extend assistance through March. Any amount will be gratefully accepted.

Whatever our feelings, we don’t have to be alone with them!

You can talk with others in a supportive environment.  You’re invited to the Climate Café!  The Café is for both climate activists and concerned people who are not activists, and everybody in between. The Café is a gathering where you don’t have to put on a positive face but can share openly with people who have similar emotions and struggles, and are learning from each other.

For now, the Cafés are on Zoom and led by two experienced activists from 350 Mass Lowell.
