How Do I Get Involved?

Solidarity Lowell has a Facebook Group where we have conversations, post articles for each other, and make connections and plans. You must request to join and a moderator will approve you.

SL also has a Facebook “Page” which is the public Facebook face of SL. You can like the page to get notifications for our public events.

Rapid Response

The Rapid Response team sends out a weekly update by email (join list), in our Facebook Group, and here on this website, which lists actions you can take, upcoming social justice events in the Merrimack Valley region, and scripts you can use to call your legislators on a range of urgent issues.

Local Policy

The Local Policy Committee works on issues related to immigrants and refugees in the greater Lowell region

Art Actions

The Art Action committee strategically employs visual and performing art to affect political and social change. We work in collaboration with other Solidarity Lowell committees, the local art community, and local progressive organizations to develop and implement creative, goal-driven direct action.
