SUMMARY:Where's My Health Care? - A Forum to Change Our Health Insurance
DESCRIPTION:Let’s improve the health care system to save money and time without sacrificing medical care. \nMassachusetts is one of the best states for health care\, yet we have not escaped the inflated prices. Learn how we can change our policies and make an impact. We did it as a state in 2006 with Romneycare and we can do even better. \nWe all have experienced or know someone who has:\n• put off going to a doctor or treatment due to a copay or high deductible\n• struggled to pay for their necessary medication\n• spent hours battling with the insurance company going from one representative to another\n• had a doctor spend only 5 minuted with them to move onto another patient\n• waited for hours for their appointment\n• turned to GoFundMe to pay for medical bills & treatment\n• traveled to another country for medicine or surgery\n• and even more \nWe are one of the wealthiest countries in the world\, yet pay almost twice what the average is for similar countries ($10\,224 vs the average of $5\,280). \nWe can do better. \nAnd we want to do better.
