DESCRIPTION:During July’s Lowell Talks\, join Maritza Grooms\, co-host of Kindred\nConversations: Living Black in Lowell and History in Lowell (LTC) for\na conversation on local black history. Maritza will share her\nknowledge about the experiences of African Americans living in Lowell in both the 20th and 21st centuries. Come with your questions\, comments\, and histories of your own! \nThis free program is hosted at the Boott Cotton Mills Museum (115 John Street). Free parking is located at 304 Dutton Street\, a 10 minute walk from the museum. On Sundays street parking is also free in metered spaces. \nNote: This program is part “Black History in Lowell: A Special Series\non Race\, Freedom\, and the Spindle City.”
